Imagine this: You’re ready to create some social media posts. You’re feeling pretty pro right now. You are going to schedule a few of them ahead of time and really do this whole “content creation” thing. You have pictures saved. You’re gonna link to a few of your products. You even have a little ‘inspiration’ […]
I love getting my business organized and ready for the new year in January. I don’t know about you, but after the holidays, my business space can look like the toy aisle at Wal-Mart the day after Christmas. If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, I’ve got some tips to help you cut through the clutter […]
I’m going to keep it short and simple this week because we are cruising into the holiday week. Right now, more than EVER before, there is a huge amount of support out there for handmade businesses. We are seeing this particularly on social media. You are missing a MAJOR opportunity if you don’t get out […]
Holiday shipping delays are a really regular part of the season. As online shopping continues to be the preferred method of customers, the shipping delays also keep growing. I started my handmade business in 2010, and after setting up my craft table in more school gyms, church basements, parking lots, and fairgrounds than I could count, I realized that I did NOT love the constant ‘weekend hustle’ of setting up at shows nearly as much as I loved meeting the people who would buy my work.
I had this idea that makers like me had to set up at markets and fairs to make money...which was soooo 1997! With social media, blogs, email, and websites, I had the power to reach beyond my little community craft show and expand my reach farther than I could have possibly imagined.
Fast forward to today, where I have helped hundreds of makers find and connect with people who will actually buy, without having to pop up at a market every weekend.
If you will read on, I’d love to tell you how I can help you find the people who will buy your stuff!
