being crafty and passionate is always enough
You love your craft, but this big leap from hobby crafter to creative business owner makes you shake in your boots a little bit. You’ve never run a business before. Where do you even start?
At the same time, you want someone to show you the ropes so you can set things up properly, create your accounts, get your domain name, save money in the process, and not have to spend 80,000 hours on Google.
I always say you don’t know what you don’t know– so hop on in to skip over common mistakes and start a business that brings you freedom and joy.
Get Started
Picture this:
You’re running your own craft business.
Finally making money doing what you love
Save money by learning how to purchase supplies tax free AND at wholesale prices
Have a brand name that’s unique and recognizable– growing with you as your business expands
Set up your business’s legal structure with ease (I promise, starting doesn’t have to feel like a million rocket-science-difficult level steps)
KNOW your business is real, registered, and ready to succeed (cute little business, who?)
I’ve been where you are.
I’ve gone all wide-eyed, looking at way too much information– wishing someone could boil it down for me.
Do what you love. Make money doing it.
The dream, right? But first, get set up in a way that turns your hobby into a legit business.
Let's Do This
Combining my background in marketing and communications with my experiences of ‘being in the trenches’ with my own successful handmade business– I know exactly where you’re at.
This introductory program gives you everything you need to get started, without the additional jargon that makes getting up and running feel intimidating.
And on that note...
14 years ago, I took a few crafting classes because I wanted to keep my hands busy to stop snacking. (That 20-something logic haha, am I right?)
Fast forward, I still snack. But now I’m munching on pretzels while running a 6-figure handmade jewelry business that’s been featured in publications like Country Living Magazine while traveling around the country.
So what’s my secret?
I know my audience and give them what they want.
My turning point happened 7 years in, when I went from struggling to people begging me to build a website so they can buy things. It all came from finding an audience and communicating with them.
Now, I want to help you be successful in your handmade business. Running my programs like my Bubbie’s one-room antique shop where people would come in for coffee and a conversation– there is no such thing as too beginner in my world.
No matter where you’re at, let’s help you build a creative business that you love.
